My vehicle is new and currently at a little over 1200 miles but my maintenance Minder hasnt changed what it has been displaying the entire time. It has shown "A" for as long as I can remember which I realize now is oil change and it still shows oil life as 100%. Is something wrong going on here?

I would expect that the oil life would have ticked down by now to like 90% or something. Just seems odd that after 1200 miles it still displays 100%. I guess the "A" for oil change might be just indicating what the future maintenance item is?

The MM takes into account how those miles were accrued. If you do a lot of highway driving and not a lot of short trips, it's not surprising that it still at 100%.

The "A" does mean that when you get to zero percent to change the oil. Mine showed a "A" up until 15% then it added a "1" after the "A" i looked that up and it means to also rotate the tires. Here is how it looks like right now with 5000 miles and 15%, ever time i turn on the car it gives me a reminder.

Your oil life is lower than 100%. It could be 91%. But it only changes in increments of 10. 100-90-80-etc. until it gets to 20-15-10-5-0.
