I've got a 2018 Civic EX-T CVT with 133k (bought at 123k as it was previously a rental car, hence the mileage) and so far I've replaced the transmission fluid, purchased new tires, and both air filters.
I'm sitting at 30% oil life right now with an MMB code, and I'm planning on changing the oil myself. I'm seeing that MMB involves "adjusting the parking brake" and a full brake inspection along with the hoses. After visually inspecting my pads and listening to them, they seem to have enough life to not worry about them for now, but I'm just curious: Do you guys recommend going to a local mechanic to inspect for MMB? Dealership? Or do you guys just do the inspection yourself? If so, how?
For the record I'm not car savvy, but I know how to follow maintenance instructions online and mostly figure it out from there lol
