I recently bought a set of ESR SR-07s and just had them mounted and balanced yesterday and installed on the car. I believe the new wheels have a conical seat, but the shop reused the OEM lug nuts and said that they fit fine. Should I be worried?

If I need to get new lugs, would I be looking for M12x1.5 with a 19mm hex size?

They’ll fit fine, but they will not seat perfectly. Which means less surface friction holding them in place.

Odds are you’ll never have an issue with them coming loose, but I’d say there’s more chance they would than if you were to have conical lugs.

Torquing down a surface into a different shape may damage that surface over time as well. Some aftermarket wheel aluminum alloys could be relatively soft.

I would check your torque on those lugs after a couple hundred miles and see if they've loosened significantly. Or just find some cheap conicals. Most lugs are not as expensive as Honda OEM.

get a set of conical lugnuts and replace them yourself... dont use OEM lugnuts on aftermarket rims
