I traded in my Si last weekend and right before heading to the dealer I flashed my car back to stock with my KTuner V1.2 Today I went to flash the new car and noticed that my KTuner is still locked to my old VIN.
I contacted KTuner to see what the deal was and what I should do. They told me that I did not choose the flash and unlock option. I am not sure why the tuner would not automatically unlock itself from the VIN upon returning it to stock.
So my only option at this point is to pay KTuner $200 and ship them back by V1.2 and they send it back to me unlocked.
Just wanted to put an FYI out there for everyone. As this blows, I will now have all most double the price of a V1.2 tied up in mine.
