I have D2's currently.. but I'm trying to gauge the Skumk2's compared to them as far as ride quality.. I want a firmer spring than the D2... the front rates are similar to the Si.. but I feel the rears are just too soft :coffee:
Just keep your SPORT mode on all the time, that will stiffen the ride..

I have the HFP dampers paired with the D2's now and its pretty firm but the rear is still MEH.. and too soft..

My only problem with the D2 springs is the back looks lower than the front and id rather have the opposite or even which is why im leaning towards the skunk 2

Two part question

With the aggressive drop provided by the D2 in comparison to other brands, can anyone elaborate on how this may potentiallly affect the longevity of our struts?

Additionally, with the vehicle sitting lower, doesn’t this affect the calibrated dampening range of the ADS between the sport and normal mode since the struts are now more compressed with the 1.9-2.0” drop? Does this throw off the overall dynamics of the ADS?

Input is much appreciated as I am on the fence (moreso leaning towards purchase) of acquiring a set.

on ProCivic.com it ask what model you have.... do the springs really differ?
i have an SI but i would like to get for the Hatchback due to the drop being 2.0" instead of 1.7" in the front and 1.9" in the back...

I like how mine dropped with d2 springs. It does rub when I hit bumps especially when I have people riding with me but im fine with it prolly just need smaller tires.

It's the same spring i think. Even if you get the one for hatch you wont get 2" drop F/R
