What tires?

I imagine you should be able to fit a 245 R7 on a 17x9 square without much issue.

Looking for something smaller then the big rims the si comes with. The car is dropped and i dont want any fender issues.

I'm running 245/40R17 on 17x8 ET45, lowered on H&R Springs. No spacers required, could have done 45 sidewall as well without issue. No rub at all, and this picture can attest I would know if there's any rub. LOL

It seems you’re looking for a drag setup. Is that the case?

15's are a good option
What 15's will fit over the Si Brakes? Will go smaller but was worried about 16" rims clearning the brakes, if you open the door to 15's I will be an extremely happy individual!!!!!!!!!!!

Semi-related. How has been your experience with the OEM pads/rotors after a typical 30 minute session? My Si has had 0 track days so far, but I'm already feeling some inconsistencies under light braking. No vibes but definitely feels like some surface irregularities.

Not good lol. The OEM pads are a street pad only. Put sticky tires on and they fade super fast. Not a fan lol. The upgrade options are not that great either.
