im thinking of getting work emotion M8R 18x9.5 +38mm and probably run 225/40 tires. im currently on stock suspension but i will eventually get the eibach pro srings and a bbk, anyone think i will have issues with these wheels?

ps. i do not want to do any modifictaion for my fenders for the wheels to fit, i want to be about flush give or take some poke or tuck but i want a more aggresive offset than stock. Thanks for any help
225/40 may be too much of a stretch. You'll be better off with 235/40. It'll still be stretched, just not as bad. Plenty of members here buy 18x9.5 +38 with 235/40 tires and are lowered on the pro kits.

That fitment should give you a flush look you if you have a type r the tires should be 265/35/18
He doesn't have to have a Type R for those to fit, but that tire size will be a problem without additional fender work (rolled at a minimum). A better size would be 245/40 or 255/35.
This is my car with 18x9.5", 45mm 265/35-18's. Car is lowered on Eibach Sportlines, rears are rolled almost flat. No rubbing.
