Ive personally owned 2 (the first of which had north of 100 different flashes testing it with) and neither one had a bit of a problem with dilution. I think it is a mania of sorts that started up in Canada. There was a problem enough to issue a bulletin about but they aren't buying back many cars over it lol.
An entire parking lot worth of tenth gen owners subjectively smelling the "dilution amount" of gas in there motor oil just seems silly to me.
I agree, and honestly, as far as how bad it is, I am not sure. I just know we can smell it. my 2020 and the 2018 EX-T smelt the most rich. now, UNLESS that's just how synthetic smells then please enlighten me.. I come from an 2006 5.3lt chevy silverado and the oil was standard in it .. so maybe its just the synthetic? I'm not trying to be ignorant but, I honestly don't know if there is even a difference in smell between the two.
Lastly, only one of the other guys are from Tyler. the other two drove an hour away. they didn't seem to smell as rich as us locals did.
