Long beep tone when turning off car

Hey guys, tried to search but couldn’t find anything. The CTR would have a long (2-4) second beep tone when I turn off the car. Sometimes I hear some mechanics sounds like something is turning on/off.

Has anyone experienced this? Doesn’t seem to be anything wrong but the beep sound was not there in the past.

Yep, mine’s done the long beep thing at shut-off ever since I got it. I only notice it when I’m parked in the garage though. Probably because the sound is reflecting off the floor/walls/door.

I think mine sounds for a bit longer than 2-4 seconds though.

Crazy thought but is your headlight's switch "on" & not auto?

I always thought it was something to do with the electronic e brake

in the owner's manual. It's on page 150 in my copy.
That may help.

If you're talking about the electrical whine sound shortly after turning the car off, I have it too and pretty sure its normal relay sounds coming from the engine bay fuse box area.

Thanks everyone for responding. Thought I was going nuts as this sound and the waste gate click didn’t happen in the past

it’s just another annoying sound to add to the never ending list of weird sounds from the CTR
