I'm surprised they didn't pack in nitrogen filled tires for $2k. I remember seeing someone's post awhile ago that the dealer was charging close to 2k for.

What if you dont want wheel locks? lol
My dealership made me pay $700 for their "tint & wheel lock package" on my R. I didn't have a choice as they'd already installed both on the car between the time my car had arrived at the dealership that morning and when I went to finalize the purchase that evening

I don't have any knowledge about Type R pricing in Illinois, but the Honda of Champaign had two fly off the lot last year, haven't seen one ever since. I had a good experience with Valley Honda, but their wait list might be long for the Type R and their accessories were a little overpriced too for my LX Hatch.

that sounds just as bad as my $450 tint job and $350 clear door edge guards

I just gave away a set of wheel locks to a fella who got his rims stolen awhile back. I guess I should have sold them for a couple grand... then I could have donated the money to him to buy a new set of rims so he didn't have to file an insurance claim. Funny how economics works.
