Hi guys,

I followed this forum quite some time already.

Quick intro:
I have my 2021 Type R now for around 7000 miles and like it so far.

Unfortunately I always have some issues:
- driver seat was broken
- a/c fan had issues

Now I have an issue with the head unit.
The Logr app is not working proper anymore. It basically does not show the standard app platform anymore and rather saying, there are no new messages (see picture attached).

I have already enabled the developer options within the android auto app, installed the app new and as well the honda logging app (to receive the date from the car).

Unfortunately nothing solved my issue. Anyone has a clue?

I've had some issues with it in the past. A few things I try to do;
- Don't start the app on the phone
- Restart phone before connecting it
- Turn off blue tooth on phone before connecting with cable

Let us know if any of that works.

Right now my head unit is weird. Sometimes the internal navigation system is not working proper. A hard reset does not work and some of the apps do not work either. The dealership here is not helpful at all.

Anyone has an idea?

Mine for some reason or another disconnect and connects. It might be some setting on my phone. Still investigating.

If the dealer is not helpful and you don't have an alternate dealer, then go to corporate. Not sure who/what that entity is in Germany, but there has to be one. Honda Motor Europe I assume; https://global.honda/about/group/list.html?country=germany

1. Factory Reset the Headunit
2. Use an OEM USB cable
3. Restore phone and set up as a new phone

Logr Support does not work.

I try the Canadian way :)

Also, try to use a friend/family member’s iPhone if you can. To test if it’s an issue with your phone or android auto.

I’ve found most features do not work. I’ve been in touch with Honda LogR support, they took months to respond, and when I did speak with someone they shared my frustration with the lack of support for the app. Really disappointing.
