Happened again today. On the +6 psi tune. All stock other than the tune. Was driving home, went WOT and at about 4500rpm the car surged and then lost all power. Check engine light flashing and won’t move under its own power. Pulled over. Try to rev it and it revs super rough. Plugged in my flashpro and knock control is at 99. If I rev it afr is around 15-17. Super lean. Showing codes for misfire on cylinder 1-4 as well as multiple random misfire.

This is the second time this has happened to my car on the plus 6psi tune and I’m about to take the tune off and throw it away and go elsewhere.

Do you have an intake? I asked you this last time but you didn't answer

if it's mis firing, it will throw it into limp mode until you clear the codes

Have you checked your plugs to see how they look?
was the engine warmed up all the way?
Another user had misfiring issues and it end up being the injectors but it's only doing it every once in a while for you

I haven’t checked plugs yet. Engine was around 170.

Sorry to hear this. I just tuned with the Hondata +6 myself. Are you running the base map or have you made adjustments to it?

So... should I be concerned running the +6 basemap? I'm kind or worried when I read about something like this.

Probably not. It’s a very mild map.

I'm running the 6+ basemap on my Sport CVT with 35k miles and still going and pulling strong. No issues with the engine or CVT. It has a lot to do with your driving style.

I pretty much take it easy with the occasional quick passes and such. I can see where it's easy to get hooked on the extra power though.

I’ve been running +9 since 2000km, at 13000km. Only thing that caused me problems was an intake.

Take some logs of driving, let’s see your fuel trims and AFR at WOT. Have you done anything to your car?
