Dealer says that they are actually selling it to the high bidder. The ones I have seen on there end up relisted next day wanting more. not far away from my max, but still got a chance. Let's see if this changes some dealers minds of asking $70k or $65k like this store is locally asking. I just can't see dealers getting $70k+ like I am reading and hearing. I think its all BS and these dealers are holding thinking they can get that kind of money because they heard one sold for X amount of dollars. THis should be a good test. Waiting for an individual to sell - back to looking on here daily I am sure.

There have been several already sold for more than $70k. My guess is this auction will exceed $60k, but we’ll see. Good luck with acquiring. I love mine.

The last eBay LE sold for $57k about two months ago. I'll be surprised if this breaks the $60k mark, I've been quoted by two FL dealers for less than $60k for the LE (high 50s).

I would be surprised if this used LE on BaT hits 60k—although is could happen. There’s plenty of new LEs in dealers across the US, which continues to incentivize others to try to buy new. It is snot very difficult to negotiate 10k above MSRP. Anywhere below msrp becomes more of a challenge with these dealers practicing price gouging.

Listing says it sold for $52,100. If true, someone got a relatively good deal.

I got my 2019 CW from them and paid $1k over MSRP, but it had tint, all weather mats and the clear door film on it. They also delivered the car to my house in Cary on a Saturday morning and took my trade in away.

They called me last Thursday to see if I wanted the BB or LE, but I told them I was good.

I know of two that sold near me in the last week. One went for $55K, the other for $54K.
Other dealers are asking north of $65K, but I don't know of any sales at that level.
I talked to the salesman who sold that LE for $55K. He said the buyer wanted them to leave all the stickers that are on the car when it ships. He also didn't want the plastic removed from the floormats or seats. He intended to pick it up with a flatbed truck. My guess is he will sit on it for a while hoping to make a killing later.

So foolish. $55k conservatively invested in index funds is an investment. A car is not. Particularly if you aren’t going to enjoy driving it.

Lmao. I called a couple dealers and they want 20k over .
I’m like , what the heck are you smoking .
The markup on the regular type r’s is ridiculous as is . There’s no way anyone in their right mind will pay that much .
Unless you have money to burn that is!

Actually - looks like the dealer backed out
Yeah, nothing like 66.7% positive feedback to attract future potential buyers.

eBay is a pretty sketchy place to buy a car. But I did get my 300 mile Si via a Honda dealer's auction. When i picked up the car the dealership manager told me that there had been an error in the reserve price.

I remember an eBay listing for an '89 Turbo TransAm back when the ads had comments at the bottom. A previous owner of the car told the seller to let him know if he needed some bids to get the price up (shill bidding). I reported that to eBay but they don't care as long as they get their fee.

Yeah, at this point, one has to be ready to invest a lot of time calling dealers across the country to find asking prices of 10k over. Negotiations down to $50-53k is extremely rare. 45-50 is a golden egg
