Lights not turning on when unlocking at night

I have a 2019 hatch sport touring & I noticed that my exterior lights don’t turn on when unlocking the car at night anymore. They used to turn on when unlocking at night. I always leave my lights on auto so I know that is not the issue.

I did have the battery disconnected for about a day as I was installing my turbo inlet pipe. I only noticed the issue after that.

Any ideas as to what this could be? I’ve confirmed all my settings in the head unit.

Check the Vehicle Settings for Keyless Access, Lighting and Door Modes. Something must have changed after disconnecting the battery. I have a 2016 and I don't see that option, but maybe the 2019 does.

Sometimes a setting gets messed up. Change the setting to something else then set it back to what you want.

I ended up just just unplugging the auto light sensor for 30 seconds and reinstalling it - that seem to have fixed the issue.

This car does not like to have the battery removed without a backup battery connected. I had trouble with my entertainment unit after replacing my battery. I had to remove the radio fuses and plug them back in to fix it.
