I noticed the same thing. While they may have extensive knowledge about LED technology, that was the least informative writeup I have read in regards to helping the OP.
Agreed - the info is basically outdated and does not cover projector housings. LEDs in projector housings generally work fine. Much better than the old style reflector housings. I put LEDs in my reflector housings on my ridgeline - making me an asshole.

OP - you should be fine putting LEDs in your projector housings. No need to get special housings.

I have used Opt7 bulbs, but it seems they are getting out of the headlight bulb business. I see some clones, perhaps they sold their style to someone else.

At this point, i would also go with hikari. I figure that is what i am getting for my civic once i have some extra funds.

That's odd, they should fit since they are H11 and many others have them installed. Even the Hikari LED kit that I linked above says that it doesn't fit, when that is the exact kit I have already installed lol
When I looked on Amazon it says it doesn’t fit my vehicle.

Okay well if everyone is saying they will fit even though Amazon says otherwise... then when I get paid again, I’ll order some. Funds are getting sparse lol ?

Crap, now I really can’t decide which ones to get... I’m between the LasFit LEDS, the Hikari LEDs and the Katanas or the Auxitos. I want something that’s not overly bright but enough to help me see at night. I’m not one of those assholes that likes to blind people lol js ? HELP! Lol

And how do you know if your car has a projector lens or whatever the other lens is called?

So which ones would ideally be better? The Hikaris or the LasFit. I know on the LasFit website I can get both the front headlights and the reverse bulbs for $89. Not to worry about the price but I’d like to get the best ones.

***EDIT***
apparently I have LED DRL’s but my headlights have the projector style housing. So if I were to upgrade my bulbs to an LED, wouldn’t it make any difference? It’s weird how my DRLs are brighter than my actual headlights.

My DRL’s on:

My low beams are on with my DRL’s:

Best thing to do is to upgrade your headlights projectors:
What I did on my 2016 stock halogen chrome headlights to make them function from this:
This is Amazon hid:

To this:
Morimoto D2S projectors:

You can do this yourself using my walkthgough diy:

I would say with everything cost wise i spent a little under $500

That’s great. Thanks for sharing but to be honest I don’t have the patience to do all that nor the knowledge of wiring anything. Not sure if you were really trying to help or or being sarcastic because I’m a female and I’m asking to many questions... ??
