Can the 2017 Civic Touring Sedan, with LED headlights, be upgraded? The stock ones are not bright enough for my taste. Any thoughts?

Ive been thinking the same thing. I have a touring coupe. I replaced the tail lights and backup lights with very bright LEDs....hahahah actually from my rearview mirror I can see traffic signs lit up red from my brake lights lol. Would be nice to have brighter headlights.

I adjusted the headlight aim upwards. It probably creates more glare for other people, but I now finally feel like I can see more than one second in front of my car on the highway.

great how do you adjust the headligths to aim upwards?
There is a little hex head on the back of the headlights. I think it's somewhere around 12mm but can't remember the exact size. Turn that clockwise to raise the headlights or counterclockwise to lower them.

Was just thinking I need to raise mine. I can see half as far at night as I could with my Tacoma

Audi I think have the best LED headlights.
My 2017 A4 has LED lights, and how it effects visibility on low-beam makes a huge difference, especially in the rain. I had an EX-T with the stock halogen low and high beams, and sometimes I could barely see the lines on the road during night rainstorms (they also suck at keeping lines maintained in VT). I've always wondered about the Touring's LED lights, since that was the trim I really wanted, but it sounds like they're not that functional unless you adjust them. I'll keep that in mind, since even though I love the A4, I wouldn't think twice before buying another CivicX. Excellent car.

Since we're on the headlight topic, I wanted to ask some fellow drivers who may have noticed--on a scale from "not an issue at all" to "BLINDED BY THE LIGHT," how overbearing are the latest gen A4's headlights to other drivers? I haven't had anyone flick their high-beams at me yet, but I was wondering what other driver's experiences are. I don't like the idea that I might be blinding some folks.

The only cars on the road that blind me are the newest Chevy trucks. I cannot believe that they are allowed to roll off the assembly line with their headlight cut off above every cars roof.

Oh my God, we have a fair share of those in my corner of VT. When I had my CivicX, it was hell to drive with one behind me because of the mirror glare. I wound up putting 30% tints on my rear windows (VT doesn't let you have them on the windshield or driver's side), and that helped somewhat. But geez--who on earth thought that was a good idea?

The A4's I've seen are fine as are all New Audi's. They know what they're doing with respect to cutoff's, etc. It's the old cars and trucks with HID's and LED's in reflector housings that piss me off!

Then again, some people don't even put their lights on at night, and they never get caught.
That's what I'd heard, and that's good to know. After some hairy experiences in my first year as a driver, I tend to get a bit fixated on safety. The way I see it, if a car or truck with LED lights is giving *me* this much trouble, there are probably other folks on the road with the same worries. Thanks for your input! :)

There is just beginning to be some organized comparative info on stock auto headlights. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) tests headlights and posts results.

Trouble is the process is flawed (e.g. they do not check aim but test cars as they get 'em) and subjective (like giving 'demerits' for excess "glare" without defining how that was determined). At least they provide some objective measurement of illumination distance to 5 lux.
Looks like the Civic Touring's LED's shone a decent distance (103 meters straight ahead), but were downgraded for excess glare. The LX/EX halogens shone only 88.7 meters, but with no glare.
