LED Fog Light Replacement?

Has anyone replaced the fog lights on their Type R? I'd like to replacement mine with yellow ones, if practical. I know they are LED, but the manual says it should be done by a dealer, and doesn't give any more info.

Anyone tried this? Does the whole housing need to be replaced?

Not sure if they make yellow lensed led foglight housings but it might be more practical to put yellow film over them. At least you'll be able to go back to stock if you don't like the look.

you will not be able to. i purchase a set of led bulbs and it didn't work. the foglight is a complete led housing unit. if you wanted to change it out, you would need to buy the JDM one and it cost about 350 for the set

Way more than $350! The part alone from the dealer (price in catalog is not really accurate) is nearly $450. Then taxes, shipping and duties.

We should start asking the guys at TheRetroFitSource.com. They had drop-in LED fog lights for the 8th gen civic for a while. I'm sure they'll make them for ours as well. I hope.

Those are sweet. They look like CRZ/ILX fogs but in yellow.

I don't have a direct link. I had to get my mate in Japan to get them for me. Turn around time is about 2.5weeks. $600 and i will gladly get you a set. If we can find them cheaper I will let everyone know.

I will hit the car wash and take better photos along with the beam pattern at night, which is really crisp!
