Only have 5k on it and scuffing on the seats . Not sure if it's because belt or just jeans in general . Any advise?

I have black seats and I don't see that kind of wear on mine.

Leather seats over time. And given this is a Civic, expect wear and bunching.

I have a 2016 Touring Sedan with 14K miles on it. I try to be very careful getting in and out, as the first place I find wear on leather in any car is the love-handle area seatback bolster and the raised part of the seat cushion closest to the door.

People tend to sit on the edge as they scoot themselves in and it eventually wears/stretches the leather.

Even being careful, I'm starting to see a bit of bunching/wear (that veiny, dull white In some of your photos) on the bottom cushion in that area.

I mostly wear khakis or dress pants- rarely jeans, but I'm a firm believer jeans are hell in leather. As is putting in direct weight that's not your butt (aka one hand, knee, etc).

Doesn't mean it should do it that early, but about all you can do is be careful and condition the leather often.
