So this is my first car with leather, and I intend to keep it for a while. I've seem some pretty terrible looking leather seats on some cars, and don't want mine to look like that.

What do you do to take care of your leather seats and trim?

It's my first car with leather seats too. I plan to use Zymol leather cleaner and conditioner as they have served me well on leather surfaces in the house.

I've had leather interiors for 40 years. In that time I have never used anything but a damp cloth and even then very rarely. Maybe you need a leather treatment in the real hot climates. My interiors, except for a couple of Corvettes (white on red), have always been black.

You're wasting your money by and large using any conditioning products on the leather. If you do a bit of digging around, you'll find that there are different grades of leather, the majority of which used in cars are colored and treated just at the surface (which is why they scratch to white). Products like Lexol, while great, are really designed for more premium leathers and will do little for the kind found on Hondas. Best bet is a slightly damp rag and frequent wiping down.

Armorall wipes are cheap and keep leather looking nice and fresh.
I also use Armorall gel in a bottle, 1 to 2 times a year.

For treatment, are you all gonna just apply it to the front seats or everywhere that looks leather? Meaning... the steering wheel, rear seats, center box, etc.

Oh ok. I thought I heard somewhere that just the front seats and (maybe) the rear seats were real leather, whereas everything else was like vinyl or some form of fake leather.
Even if they are vinyl, its still good to protect it, vinyl can crack if not taken care of too.

Make sure whatever your putting on is water based and not oil based, otherwise it will have an easier chance of drying up in the heat.

I use these products on my S2000. It's the best stuff on the market IMO and doesn't smell fruity like many others. It smells just like traditional leather and drys with a matte finish. Made for treated and colored leather.
