I feel like such an idiot. I came to this dealership about a year ago with my gf when she was car shopping. The LE Type R was listed at $56k by the dealer. Same car is still here listed at $95k!!! I’ve seen some asinine prices in the 70s but 95!?!?! Anyone seen anything like this?

Why do you feel like an idiot? $56K is an absolute ripoff too ? some dealers were selling these at msrp new. Frenzies change people's perception.......in the end, its a $44K car.

This isn't a 911........its a Honda lol

Lol I know me and my buddies said the same thing like I’d get a GTR or something for that price point. But I mean damn if I could’ve paid 56 and get anywhere near 90 a year later maybe I would be driving a GTR right now lol.

with that being said I do think Honda underestimated the popularity of this car when they released these. I see R34s going for $250+ now. Who knows. (In no way am I defending a $95k Honda lol)

They’re not interested in selling the car. It’s eye candy for their showroom. They’ll sell it for 94k if someone is stupid enough to pay that, but they don’t expect it.

Because a dealership has a price tag of 94k on it, doesn’t mean you could have bought it and made a 45k profit on it by selling it. You aren’t a dealership and the car isn’t worth that money.

I hope they do. Would be almost impressive for the dealership to pull that off. Also, anyone ignorant enough to spend that kind of money on a Honda probably pisses in a $20,000 toilet bowl every morning so I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.

Those high-endJapanese toilets do the equivalent of wiping one's ass. I'd expect that from the dealer if I paid almost $10k for a CTR LE!
