So, since we have entered the Dark Ages (winter) my next upgrade is going to be LED bulbs and the consensus seems to be LasFit is the brand of choice. All reviews I have seen appear to back this up and they look to be plentiful on Amazon (no back-order like everything else). The only question I have for the collective is what are the selling points of the LasFit LS model vs. the standard LasFit LEDs? Are the LS versions 4 times better (as the pricing reflects)? I can get a combo pack of H11 AND 9005s for roughly $70 but the H11 LS model is $130/pair.

Anyone have any real-world comparison of the 2? Thanks!!

If you're concerned about visibility, LED bulbs are actually a downgrade. Your best option would be a halogen upgrade to something like Sylvania bulbs. LEDsdon't throw light as far as Halogens do down the road, not when placed in our housings at least.

I run Hikari LEDs and have no issues at all, they were around $100 on amazon I think.

Maybe i'm partial to the fact that my thread ended up with a ton of pages, but I think the consensus for me and most of this board is that Katana's are the best bang for your buck LED with plenty of us having ran them to confirm.
