I've had my dash cam in my car since Jan 2018. Only issue I've have is the suction cup mount removing itself every so often, never while I'm driving though. I've had that happen maybe 10-15 times in the 3 years I've had it? It's stuck to straight glass next to the rear view mirror mount(no glare strip for me). You can probably find one that clamps onto the rearview mirror. Either that, or fab up a bracket that mounts somewhere under the headliner and protrudes out for you to mount something.

100% of the time, only exception is when my friend tells me to take her spot in her apartment complex. Otherwise at my house, it's parked on the driveway, and zero covered parking at work.
