Sounds like road trip time!!My understanding, the octane availability is kinda dependent on altitude. Go to some close to sea-level area like San Diego, you'll see 93 octane as premium, while we get 91. Take a trip up to Brianhead where they're at like 10k above sea level, regular fuel will be 85 octane, while we get 87.
race gas (100+ octane) is an outlier since, well, race gas. The above really just applies to what's widely available at the standard regular/plus/premium pumps in the area. We're sitting at 2-3k above sea level, hence why we get the 87/89/91 selection
