My understanding, the octane availability is kinda dependent on altitude. Go to some close to sea-level area like San Diego, you'll see 93 octane as premium, while we get 91. Take a trip up to Brianhead where they're at like 10k above sea level, regular fuel will be 85 octane, while we get 87.

race gas (100+ octane) is an outlier since, well, race gas. The above really just applies to what's widely available at the standard regular/plus/premium pumps in the area. We're sitting at 2-3k above sea level, hence why we get the 87/89/91 selection
Sounds like road trip time!!

Thanks for the response about the 93 octane gas guys. Probably won't be travelling all the way from NLV to Henderson to get a few gallons of 100, but it's nice to know it's available.
Check Rebel stations for the 100 octane. There are a good number of them that have at least 1 pump with 100.

Hi All,

For those who have aftermarket downpipes, do you pass smog? I want to get a DP for my si, but am worried about the annual smog we have in Las Vegas.

Thanks in advance!

Good to know! (You mean the ones with the turbo swap and all the bolt ons as well?) Thank you for taking time to respond.

Can anyone that has an aftermarket downpipe send me a DM? I need help with how you're passing smog in Las Vegas. Mine was rejected today.

Hi! I am new here and located in Vegas Just picked up a 2018 Civic Si. Mostly because I also picked up a Civic for World Challenge TCA. I plan on just driving it around and getting accustomed to FWD and also taking it the track.

I know there are a bunch of dash cam threads out there but I am curious if anyone in LV has a dash cam - I would like one in my ‘19 Si Coupe that is unfortunately always in the sun (no covered parking or garage) and I am wondering if it would just destroy the cam being in the sun all the time.

Anyone local have one?
How did you mount it (I don’t want to stick anything to the heat shield tint on the windshield and risk messing up the tint if I have to move or remove the cam)
How well does it handle the heat?
