If ACC and LKAS are not showing on the cluster, click the ā€˜Mainā€™ button on the steering wheel. ACC and LKAS should display in green, then press the LKAS button at the bottom, right and the road lines indicator will display.

Sadly i dont havee the switches or lights showing in the dashboard, so its a bigger job than I thought.

Thanks
Iā€™m sorry Iā€™m not much help for your situation. Iā€™m guessing your car is quite a bit different from ours across the pond besides the steering wheel being on the wrong side. ? I kid!

Is it possible that even though you have the camera, you donā€™t have the LKAS capability? I would talk to a dealer and see what info you can get from them. Can you post a pic of your steering wheel that shows the controls on both sides?

And, what year and trim level because your avatar doesnā€™t look like any 10th gen we have here.

I believe there are a number of dash cams that have lane departure warnings built in, if you have no other options. Something is better than nothing.

I don't think it's based on a 10th gen Civic. I could be wrong but the dashboard reminds me of the 9th gen Civic. Chances are you don't have lane assist. Check your user manual. It will say if yours have it and if it does, how to turn it on.

Yeah, that's definitely not related to the 10th gen Civic this forum is based on. Is that a diesel?
It's an FK Euro Spec hatch based on the 9th gen Civic. I was contemplating on importing an FK2 CTR but wasn't sold on the look of the rear LOL

Dude, your car is not equipped with Honda Sensing thus it does not have Lane Keep Assist System. When you say you have all the sensors you probably mean parking sensors. Honda sensing works with cameras and a special radar mounted on the front of the car. The fact that you bought it in 2016 or it was marketed to you as a 2016 model, does not make it a 2016 model. This is a 9th gen Civic which begun selling in Europe and the UK from 2013 and had a facelift in 2015.

All Honda model variants regardless of trim edition including the Civic (MY2016 onwards-10th gen), HR-V (MY2015 onwards-2nd gen), Jazz(MY2021 onwards-4th gen), Jazz Crosstar(MY2021 onwards-1st gen), Honda e (2021 onwards-1st gen) and CR-V(2019 onwards-5th gen) are all equipped with Honda Sensing since its EU regulations for all cars sold in the EU to be fitted with a minimum set of active safety features. Some trims have more safety features such as blind spot and cross traffic check, which is not included in base models. TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and I think-not sure though City Brake Mitigation System (CMBS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW-its NOT LKAS), Driver Drowsiness/Distraction, rear camera or rear sensors and Speed limit assist are mandatory.

Also, note that this is a 10th gen Civic forum while yours is a 9th gen.

Finally, for EUDM 10th gen civics as well as other Honda Sensing equipped models, LKAS and ACC can be activated up to a speed of 180km/h (112mp/h).

It can be slightly confusing with model generations for some people as for instance the 5th Gen CR-V started selling in the USA in 2017 while in Europe it became available in late 2018 and was marketed by Honda as a 2019 model. Sales were actually planned to begin January 1st 2019 but some cars arrived earlier in Europe and customers did not want to wait (including myself, I got one of the very first ones to arrive). This is why its always best to communicate using the Chassis code which in your case I assume its a FK3 with a N16A1 1.6 i-DTEC engine.
