Lack of heat

I have complained about the lack of heat on or 2016 Civic. The car is not fit for Canadian winters.

The problem has finally made it to the mainstream media:

I hope that's something they addressed for the 11th gen, it really does suck. I hate sitting at a stop light on a winter morning and actually seeing the engine temp DROP on the dash.

That's what happens with efficient engines, they make less heat. Do you use a block heater? I use a block heater and also block off my grille in winter to reduce airflow through the radiator. I usually have sufficient heat even through cold Winnipeg winters.

I read It is about CRV not Civic.

My wife 2016 Civic and my 2018 Civic have enough heat and we live in the cold Canadian climate.
My car is always outside. At 5 F / -15 C, I have heat in less than 5 minutes

Thought it was just me. I have to crank the heat all the way up to get any warmth. Even then it's just lukewarm, and goes cold until I drive with higher rpm.

To have maximum heat, I alway deactivate A/C on screen
