KTuner vs Apple CarPlay

Is it possible to still use Apple car play when using a ktuner v1.2 or v2 and how?

In short YES.
that’s a really broad question. I don’t want to go into any unnecessary details and cause confusion.
are you just looking into getting a Ktuner or have you already “flashed” the ECU?
Ktuner’s help pages give very good information.

Thank you for replying. I am a total beginner when it comes to tuning software.
I am considering purchasing a ktuner and loading the phearable 1.5 race tune for non-si 1.5. In the videos I have seen, it looks like the ktuner had to be plugged into the OBDII and the USB port where the phone plugs in. If I wanted to use Apple CarPlay and still see the ktuner interface to measure knock values, see real-time rpms/mph, would that be possible?

yes but not simultaneously controlled. Carplay is full screen. Tunerview is fullscreen and android only(last time I checked). You would need to run tunerview on the android head unit locally, and could then switch into carplay to change audio as needed.
