It’s on the side of the ECU (the side facing the passenger side of the vehicle). The ECU number will be the last 6 digit letters/numbers

Not the best method of finding out but before this tune was available I had a Ktuner and just got the ECU version off the Ktuner program. If you already have your tuner it should lost it at the bottom. Was easier than digging around in the engine bay to find it.

^ You beat me to it. TSP wants your software version, not ECU number.

Assuming you've locked your KTuner to your car....

Open the KTuner PC program. Go to Tools > KTuner > KTuner Unit Info. Then look for the number under software. Use the info after the first dash. For example, mine is 5AA-A57.

The number on the ECU under the hood is your ECU, not software number.

Or... unless I am mistaken, you can also do OBD read. Probably safer to see what KTuner spits out before sending to TSP ?.

Yeah this works just as well, if you have a scanner available.

$$$ in tuning hw/sw and no $30 scanner in the toolbox... have to check the good book, but pretty sure it's a sin (#11). ?

Lol fr? I wasn’t really wanting to start modding for the extra maintenance and now I’m reading I may want to have a scanner which I assume is for maintenance? I just got this tune too and have purchased a couple mods?

Don't forget that a KTuner unit can function as a code scanner too. :)
