Hi,
I felt the need for this thread to share everyone's experience about custom tuning.
how to do it.
what parameters should be looked at before any changes in the tune of other parameters.

All are requested to share their data logs and we will have a discussion.

There's really no need for others to post their datalogs.

After all, a custom tune is "custom".

Meaning that you can't (and there's no need to) compare it to any one else's settings/setup. It's all based on your particular car and mods. And how you want the tune set up for your driving style and needs.

In the case of a custom e-tune, your tuner will have you run datalogs and will send you multiple revised tune files until the tune runs best for your individual setup.

For example if I am getting a certain AFR at a particular rpm.
And a tuned engine is giving a different reading.
That means, I have to adjust timing or afr on that particular rpm range

That's why I was asking for data logs.

The quick enable options may be not there.
But the maps can be adjusted with more and more data

You're losing me here. Are you talking custom tuning by a pro or self tuning it?

Like I told the OP in another thread, there are some really good 10th gen pro tuners out there. He has concerns about the $$, but it's a bargain when you realize what you're getting.

Is he aware of how much $ an engine rebuild is vs a custom tune?
