Download the KTuner software to your new computer. Load the program. Plug in your KTuner. It will prompt you for your user name and password. Once you are logged in the KTuner servers will synch things up and you should be good to go.

There's info in the helper window when you first launch the software for logging into an existing account. Exactly as above, just plug in the unit after the software is open so it doesn't go to sleep.

What happens if the ktuner breaks or stops working somehow? How can the car be reflashed back to stock, or married to a new ktuner?

Thanks for the random question help.

I have a similar question due to about to switch laptops for Ktuner. Do I not need any files from the old computer to be move to the new? Is the stock ECU not saved on disk?
