I have a ktuner and running the tsp stage 1 tune with it, my tpms light keeps coming on and not one tire is low. Anyone else experience this issue at all? I keep resetting it and next time I drive the car at some point during the drive it comes back on.

Nope same tires and wheels. I’m gonna try to reflash tonight when I get home from work.

I don't see how flashing an ECU tune would affect the tpms system. Has to be a coincidental issue I'd think.

Yup, OP needs to recalibrate the TPMS.

It sometimes takes a few resets. Somewhere on here there is info showing the circumstances under which a recalibration needs to occur for it to be successful.

Yeah I believe I have read you really need to do highway speeds or something. My commute to work is city driving so maybe I’ll try a different route home tonight and reset it before a highway. Although when I had my EX-T and the light came on in that car city driving was enough to keep it off after a reset.

On a side note two step performance who I bought the ktuner from did reach out and said the tune shouldn’t have anything to do with the tpms light coming on. I’ll keep reporting back in the off chance someone else has the same issue in the future.

Losing traction while conducting the calibration could cause the tpms to light. The freeway speed portion may be needed for completion.

These cars do not use traditional TPMS sensors, for better or for worse. I would verify tire pressures and attempt the calibration procedure again. As everyone else has stated, a KTuner flash would not have any impact on this.

I’ve checked the pressure in all 4 several times. Hot after driving, cool after sitting, they have been the same every single time, which is why I’m confused lol. I’ll be pulling them all off and checking for punctures if it persists.

And take it easy on the throttle while it’s calibrating so it doesn’t lose traction.

One of the requirements to count for the calibration cycle is minimal acceleration or deceleration.

What this document doesn't state that I believe to be true is that if the cycle cannot complete in some number of drive cycles, the light comes back on to alert you to attempt calibration again.
