Great update for many of our CivicX enthusiasts.

Transmission Temperature monitoring for CVT available on the V2 and V1.2 with TunerView or TunerView Lite.

Update your software and it will either prompt you to update the unit firmware or you can do so through the special commands menu.

That also means there's a new version of TunerView and TunerView Lite available today.

Thanks!
Just updated but had to white list the download for Windows Defender's Smart Screen Filter. I'm guessing other virus software will need the same. I didn't need to for .3 (not sure if it was a change to WD or with the .4 build)

Thank you! Appreciate the addition of CVT temperature reading. This feature is important for CVT tuned owners who live in high temperature cities with very humid climate.

Download the software again from the website. It's been added to this build.

So now that we can monitor the CVT temp, what is considered a high value and time to ease up and let it cool down?

I don't know about Honda CVT but I heard maximum safe operating temperature for CVT is 176 F (80 Celcius).

Even in eco factory mode it easily rises up to 95 C in urban traffic

the cvtf warmer warms the fluid to that temp although it's not really written in the manuals or maybe i have missed or not found it yet.
80 -90 deg C should be the optimal operating temp.

AFAIK & reports from owners, keeping it below 125 deg C would be a good idea before the car starts to lose power or even goto limp mode after pushing it further to higher temps.
