Based off his other threads he has already bought one.On a serious note, no need to upgrade if you donāt track your CTR often, one of the memberās mechanic told him the radiator for the CTR is good enough already.
But you donāt have to listen to what I say so go ahead and upgrade if you want to....
What's the weight of the new unit vs. the stock one?I switched to a CSF / Full Race radiator, to get some data, since none existed. I will say that there is no real improvement for the most part. It does help lengthen the time for heat soak to set in, but only a little. After removing the stock hood scoop and adding a louvered vent in place, there was more improvement due to helping relieve much of the hot air under the hood but also accelerate air flow through the radiator.
Would you mind posting some pics would love to see what you have done to your hood thatās probably what I need to do to mineI switched to a CSF / Full Race radiator, to get some data, since none existed. Do you have any pics of this?I concur, I placed two hood lovours on my hood and I can see the heat escape out.
Had to make permanent cut, but worth it and looks nice!
