On a serious note, no need to upgrade if you donā€™t track your CTR often, one of the memberā€™s mechanic told him the radiator for the CTR is good enough already.

But you donā€™t have to listen to what I say so go ahead and upgrade if you want to....

Based off his other threads he has already bought one.

I switched to a CSF / Full Race radiator, to get some data, since none existed. I will say that there is no real improvement for the most part. It does help lengthen the time for heat soak to set in, but only a little. After removing the stock hood scoop and adding a louvered vent in place, there was more improvement due to helping relieve much of the hot air under the hood but also accelerate air flow through the radiator.

What's the weight of the new unit vs. the stock one?
Thanks!

Would you mind posting some pics would love to see what you have done to your hood thatā€™s probably what I need to do to mine

Don't want to jack the thread but wondering if the Seibon hood would help?

This is just a hand cut prototype. I will be laser scanning the stock scoop to have one water jet cut for better fitment. Will also laser scan underside of the hood to make more vents as well.

Iā€™m actually going in the other direction and doing a radiator delete kit! Wish me luck.
