Knock Retard while cruising

Hi, I need a little advice. While cruising at 60 miles peacefully at light throttle, suddenly there is a knock retard 1 or 1.5 and knock control rises from 0.49 to 0.60 or 0.65. Normally while cruising whatever the knock control isi knock retard is 0 but all of a sudden it shows 1 or 1.5 retard for a second and knock control increases. (Mafscaled or not doesn't matter). I really wonder why. Please help

İs it normal for knock control increasing? Before ten seconds everything is normal and then suddenly jumps 0.10 at the exact same conditions?

I think people sometimes overthink things regarding tuning. Honda set up knock control as a safety feature. Sometimes if environmental conditions require it, knock control will rise. Could be IATs or load or other factors. Even a low quality batch of gas could cause this. As long as knock control gradually goes back down, there are no worries.

You're over thinking it, knock retard at 1.5 is nothing , 0.65 is nothing either if it happens under normal driving once in a while, however if it keeps rising like that alot it means you probably have bad quality gas, WOT will bring up KC alot on bad gas and even more if u don't have artificial knock rise enable, base upon that log pic u posted You're fine

İ just get it when it increases at wot (in the meantime with artificial knock disabled it is solid 0.49)but when it increases just crusing at a steady speed with nearly zero psi it is weird

How often does it happen? And does it go back down while u still cruising?

İt happens after cruising at %26 throttle position 106 km/h -0.73 psi 1800s rpm for a few minutes. İf i don’t drive constantly at this speed and TPS, knock control doesn’t increase. And yes it goes down when i touched the throttle pedal a little more (over %30 tps)

What fuel/octane are you running? If you're on 91/93, that's perfectly normal. On E40, I'm at a constant 0.49

Highest octane available here is 95 RON nearly equals to 90.7 US octane

yes it should be but not sure abt the fuel in your country but usually gas/fuel in USA may have some mix of ethanol hence a little more knock resistance.

for your case it seems to be quite ok & maybe you could try another gas station or fuel brand.
