Kia optima vs 10th gen si

Raced a kia optima and was neck to neck all the way. What I have dp catted,cai,and tsp 1 tune. Are these optima that fast stock? Optima owner did asked me was I'm tuned which got me thinking he's tuned.

Hmm, according to Motortrend the top Optima does 0-60 in 6.7 seconds and quater mile in 15.1 seconds at 93.9MPH. The last Si they tested was 0-60 in 6.6 seconds and 14.9 seconds quatermile at 95.5 MPH. So that Optima either had mods or you need to work on your shifting skills.

Yes they're faster I got left in the dust by a damn KIA Optima and to add more embarrassment I'm tuned tsp map 3 with all bolts on..the kia was stock....I'm 1.5 cvt tho but still I thought I would win but what a shame, these civic sucks in drag racing

I had a 2013 Kia Optima SXL and it was 274 Hp stock. I had an intake and exhaust for mine and unless an si was crazy modded they never had a chance.

It depends on which generation. For example, a previous generation SXL turbo had 274 hp and 260 lb-ft stock. The Si would get crushed out there on the highway.

Yeah but thats at the crank kinda like acura tl type s. I should of walked it easy and it weight more. I'm sure this optima guy was tuned.
I also raced a modded g37 on highway neck to neck from a 40 roll.

My old si 9th gen fbo/tune walked a acura tl type s.

Exactly he's modded because there's absolutely no way a kia Optima can beat u it's beyond impossible..the civic si is extremely fast ....it can take down jets and thing
