Maybe, but that's because the Accords have memory function tied to the fob, so further programming required.

$191 isn't bad.
Yeah, I was worried that it was higher than that.

It will still require a trip to the dealer to program it unfortunately.
Of course, or an automotive locksmith. There’s one in my area, I’m curious to find out how their price will compare to the dealer’s. I’d rather find my lost fob, though.

I purchased a new uncut keyfob on eBay for $40. My local locksmith cut and programmed the new and original keyfob for $125. Total came out to about $165. I have an ‘16 EX.

A licensed locksmith will have the instructions and codes for programming OEM key fobs. I've been quoted about half the cost of the dealership before on an Audi smart key and those normally run $350 at cheapest from the dealer.

Ask the dealer if there is a discount if you get a second one made. Years ago I had one programmed for my Accord. It was $150. To get a second one made it was only $25 more.

How does the Fob come apart and what battery is it?

yesterday...

I just got the same warning and replaced the batteries on both of my fobs. It's a 2032. Pop the key out and use it to pry the two halves apart from the top, in between the tabs that allow barely enough room for the key.

What happens when the battery completely dies...you cannot start the car...correct?
I didn't want to find out, but I think you get plenty of warning before that happens. I had the warning about a week before changing the batteries.

I guess you're walking lol
My wife has a Prius and if her key fob stops working because the battery dies, you can hold the key fob right in front of the engine start/stop button and your car should turn on. The hidden key will get you in the car; the key fob will start the car.

Unless this trick only works for Toyota vehicles. Not sure.

This is also true for the Civic X.
