You could wait 6 months to see if there's an 11th gen Si hatch, that's the only reason worth waiting, imo, cause there's no 10th gen Si hatch. Rumor is we'll get an Si hatch next gen.
Yes, the 10th gen is much bigger than an RSX, but it doesn't feel big - you sit very low to the ground and the car is light and very light on its feet. I had a GSR sedan, and prefer the 10th gen in most ways except the engine sound and 8000 rpm redline. The driving position is so much better than old Hondas like the RSX. I hated having the shifter feel like it was in another county.
Having real torque in a stock Civic is a godsend.
Just one problem, the Civic is not comfortable for passengers in the front seat. You sit on the floor, seat's not height adjustable, and your wife will feel like she's in a bathtub. Make sure you take her for a test drive.
