Katzkin Leather vs OEM Leather

manager wanted to make a deal if I did it same day, plus I didn't want the door panels done, just the armrests.

I have a Katzkin leather in my 2013 Civic EX coupe. Very comfortable and looks great. I shows signs of wear on the drivers side but that's about it.. Fits well too...

I agree, the only thing that I will change is by keeping those on door panel in black leather with red arm rest, or vice versa.

Is the color here what Katzkin refers to as Medium red. I've, been trying to find an install of it online for about a month.

I got Katskins installed in my sport hatch for $1000 included in the loan from the dealer. The quality is much better than OEM leather and it does make the seats softer and than the cloth. That included the arm rests and door panels.

The different pattern in the center of the seat realy pulls it together! Was that standard or an option* picked?

Are you talking about the small strip of carbon looking fabric? If so, then yes that was an option...or at least for me it was.

For you guys who had katzkin installed:

Does your driver's seat have the leather not attached on the bottom of the seat on the side by the center console? (Yellow part in pic)

And for the backseat arm rest the plastic part bulges out. This is supposed to be flat right? It seems to interfere now and leaves an imprint on the arm rest.

Looks very similar to the OEM black leather, but mine isnt perforated which is better for my application. PLus I think the leather is better quality and thicker/cushier haha.

Interior looks amazing man. I’m really curious as to how you got Katzkin to replace your tan door panels. I called and they said they don’t do that because they’re plastic and when I mentioned to them that I’ve seen plenty of civics with the door panels replaced with leather, they said it’s not something they do and they can’t do because the leather wouldn’t stay in place. Any tips on how to go about this? I’m willing to spend the extra money just really bummed they said they wouldn’t do it. It messed up my entire idea for my new leather interior ??‍
