I just installed K&N air filter model 33-5044, got it for $50 on Amazon, on my 2020 civic si.
Super easy install, 4 bolts and you're in.
Does it add power? Maybe but it is negligible, the marketing says 6.5 hp.
Does it improve the driving experience? It improved the throttle responsiveness and the engine noise sounds different. It sounded more free?
Would I recommend it? Definitely, great bang for the buck if you value improving the driving experience. But if you want more power, get a tune or CAI.
A wild ass guess but I think turbo'd engines really benefit from better airflow compared to n/a engines. I had put K&n filters in my previous cars, 1.8t jetta and a 2.0 n/a brz, and the turbo'd jetta enginer behaved much better just like this civic si. The brz on the other hand, I barely felt any difference but the engine did sound different, less muffled.
Is it going to save you money? No, probably not but sure if you tend to change air filters often?
TL;DR: I am very happy with it, give it a try if you don't want to do bolt-ons/tunes yet.
