I drove about 130 miles to the destination with a good size load in the trunk, in heat and with a/c on most of the time. Very few stop lights but every time I took off from a light getting in into high rpms some ringing noise came from under the steering wheel.
1st gear from 4-5k rpm
2nd gear 4.5-5.5k rpm
3rd gear from 5-5.5 rpm
After 4th and I’m already going fast enough so no need to accelerate
Seems only at certain frequency you could hear it and only on long drives. Has any else experienced similar noise? Any experience shared is greatly appreciated

Maybe it's the AC compressor? Try driving with the AC unit off and see if you hear the same noise. Some people have reported a whining noise and it turned out to be the compressor

I’ve heard that whine before, but this was 100% in the cabin and what seemed to be either in the foot well area or in the steering wheel
