I smoked my pads as well with only custom map and HKS intercooler as mods. I want to get a vented hood before considering a track rad.hey brother, i tracked with stock hood and cooling mods, only cooling mod i had was hks intercoler and intake, and didn't overheart until the 4th or 5th session in the maryland humidity. i would get a radiator, intercooler, and hood for heavy tracking. also some good brake pads, mine got smoked
Its actually my understanding that in this context (lap after lap on track) the intercooler alone actually isn’t really a cooling mod, and in fact exacerbates the engine heat problem.hey brother, i tracked with stock hood and cooling mods, only cooling mod i had was hks intercoler and intake, and didn't overheart until the 4th or 5th session in the maryland humidity. i would get a radiator, intercooler, and hood for heavy tracking. also some good brake pads, mine got smoked
FBO levels on regular pump gas, so not a lot of power. In fact, I requested to keep the car within a safe range for just repeated flogging at the track so its not being juiced for all shes worth right now. What sort of power is your car at?
Does FBO include catted DP? Would that be like 370 or 380 peak hp? I want to get a catted DP and a custom tune as well. Like you, I don't want to mess with fuel system since ours cars seem to be unable to deal with overheating issue at current hp level.FBO levels on regular pump gas, so not a lot of power. Yes, full bolt ons generally includes a downpipe. Mine is the RV6 catted.Does FBO include catted DP? Would that be like 370 or 380 peak hp? I want to get a catted DP and a custom tune as well. Does your car have secondary rad? I heard that it's up there as far as cooling mod goes
Nice one. It's good to know that secondary rad is worthwhile.Yes, full bolt ons generally includes a downpipe. Mine is the RV6 catted.
The secondary radiator is a game changer for these cars and I do have one.

I think in conjunction with the Varis bumper yes it would reduce front lift, and yes it runs to the fender vents.Nice one. It's good to know that secondary rad is worthwhile.
Is that Varis Cooling Bonnet? Does it reduce front lift in addition to cooling? Where do the air from the naca ducts go? Do they run off to the fender vents?
Why the bumper? The opening is almost the same as oem 2020 model.I think in conjunction with the Varis bumper yes it would reduce front lift, and yes it runs to the fender vents.
Purely speculation about the bumper as the openings are larger than stock, not just the top opening portion. I also believe the lip is longer and if you add in the canards your looking at more downforce in theory. As for the side covers, yes removal of them would be best. You could always cut the back portion of the covers as well if you would like to maintain them. The air channels for the hood exit closer to where the fender meets the door. Why the bumper? If the air really runs off to the vent, does this mean I need to remove the engine bay side cover to make use if this naca ducts? Mine is UK model so it comes with the side covers.
Ah I see. I don't wanna lose Honda sensing as it has saved me a few times before when an NPC changed lanes suddenly. I think you relocate the sensor but dropping 3k on a bumper that is more likely to scrape wouldn't be ideal. I can get canard from Verus engineering but I am still debating if I really need it at this stage yet.Purely speculation about the bumper as the openings are larger than stock, not just the top opening portion.
