Update on what I did.
I have the American modified J’s racing replica grill.The initial body shopbroke one do the clips during the install and you see in the first 2 photos. It starts to gap.
I tried using zip ties to pull the grille and bumper together with no such luck.
During a local type r meet, one of the guys who does rim restoration Cosmetic & auto detailing took a look at is and suggested that he can weld them together. As you can see In the photos he clamped the grill to the bumper and welded it together.
The other thing we did was spray paint the crash beam and AC condenser as other member have done.
picking her up tomorrow. Letting the welding sit overnight with the clamps. The results so far is promising.
