JLT Type R oil catch can kit

I just installed this on my new Type R. Kit is super clean with a very nice mounting bracket that makes it easy to service. I have to highly recommend this brand after using them for years on lots of Mustang builds I've done over the years!

It has a fine mesh screen inside that removes the oil droplets suspended in the airflow, depositing them in the bottom of the tank. Here are some pictures from the JLT website.

It actually doesn't shake at all. The bracket is nice and sturdy. You can easily access the tank, unscrew the bottom and dump the oil back in the fill on the valve cover! I use these every week on the Fords in my shop. This is especially important due to the fact that our Type R engines are direct injected and don't have a port fuel injector to keep the intake valves clean!

Probably the case for any oil catch can. I'll say the benefits far outweigh any negatives.
