jefXfree Civic Type R FK8 Build [#00348]

Finally time to do my build thread. It wont be as fancy as some peoples, but i'm stoked to have this car. And i'll do what I can as I can.

Back in August I started talking to a guy on eBay about buying a Type R off him. I have no clue why, but the guy liked me and went through hell and back to make sure I got the car. I'm super thankful that he was so awesome.

After a TON of back and forth the car was shipped to me on Aug 04. 2017.

It arrived at my house on August 7, 2017.

This past week my new shift knob finally arrived.

The pictures are HUGE! I assumed it would auto-resize them. But going forward it looks like I'll have to do a bit of adjusting before making a post. haha

nice and congrats! black looks sooo sick! I find myself constantly staring at the black Rs in our meets. Sounds like you did get super lucky and found your ebay guy. Looks like he did go above and beyond w/ all the pictures. Assuming he's the one that took the pre-delivery pictures? Anyways, good fine! enjoy!

yeah. the pics from the first post are from him. He lives on the East Coast and let my brother stop by to check out the car to make sure everything was legit. And kept it on hold for me for like a month while I worked with my bank.

IDK why he was so nice, but he was awesome. I only wanted a black one, and he made it happen.

Added my JDM fog lights today. What a pain in the ass to install. But I really love how they look.

i have a CBP type R myself. looking forward to seeing what all you do to tthe car, mayybe give me some inspiration to do some stuff to my car as well!

It's been a while since i've updated but i've been living through car nightmares. haha.

I've ordered like 3 expensive things that either were damaged so i'm waiting on a replacement, or were for a different car so I had to get a replacement.

However, I did have something new come in that actually worked out.
