Figured I should start an account as I have started moding my new civic. Bought full grille off eBay pricey yes, but changed the whole look of front end, to me worth it.

Time to answer some questions: 1) Yes, the rs grille will fit the coupe. 2) The installation cost from the dealership was $120 CDN (an hour of labour) 3) This kit is only the chrome replacement, not the entire grill.

I'm so tempted to do this to my blue coupe, I just despise chrome. Perhaps you should plastidip the last chrome pieces on the doors and get that black/blue look nailed.

I was in Toronto the other day and they a few hatches sitting out front of Rogers center, they had black grilles on them. It might get a bit easier and cheaper to get these once the sport hatch lands, if they are a straight fit that is.

I went on the Honda Estore and if you click 2017 and scroll to 2017civic scroll down some more and click any of the 5door options then click on interior/bumper you can add all the parts you would need to do the swap. i did the math and ordering parts #1, 2, 4, 9, 12(x2), 14(x4 just incase) it comes out to about $244.27 without shipping. Can someone who has done the swap confirm what exact pieces i would need? The emblem base #3 is $338 for some ungodly reason.

I went on the Honda Estore...
I'm really hoping the hatch grill is a fit for the coupe and sedan, there was rumor going around that the hatch was different (nonsensical if you ask me) as for the emblem base, the price on that blew my mind too, it's can't be more than a hunk of plastic with some push tabs! Hopefully it's only necessary if you don't have a donor.

I mean if they are different i will have to go the Thailand spec way and get one shipped from overseas but after hearing that some are arriving chipped or cracked i am a little hesitant.

The shape looks the same and the mounting screws are in the same spot (#10 on the hatch, #15 on the coupe/sedan) I guess we have to wait for a guinea pig hahaha. Looks like the 300+$ emblem base cannot be transferred.

Looks like Thailand RS grille it is.

EDIT: Bought Riennakane's last RS full grille set. Price is a little steep but it seems this is the only way to make it work since the hatchbacks doesn't seem like an even swap.

Post pics when you install. I'm looking to buy the same RS full grille set. Thanks!
