It's commonly known as "black chrome."
“MrHealToe”,
Do you have a set for the ‘19 Civic Si, 2 “H” badges?

I'm looking for conformation that the three piece set contains both the front and rear H emblems, as well as the Civic emblem. Seems obvious it would, but the website only shows the H for the rear in the picture.

Edit: It does

The H emblems for the front and back are not the same in sizes.

The H emblem in the front is the same for sedan, hatchback and coupe, but the H emblems in the back are in 3 different sizes.

Honda access makes the kit only for sedan and hatchback, which are what they have in Japan.

The H emblem for the coupe in the back is a lot larger than those in the sedan and hatchback, so I assume heeltoe is breaking up 2 kits by selling only the front emblems for coupe owner.

I would like to see how the front black H emblem mounted on the trunk.

I've seen lots of instructions/videos on how to remove the H emblems. Nothing on how to safely remove the 'Civic' part though. Anyone have a video or pointers on how to do this before I go and buy the hatchback set?

I am wondering about removing the back H. If it’s held on with two push pins like the front when I remove it using a pry tool won’t those pin fasteners fall inside the trunk liner and rattle around when I open my hatch? Is the only way to avoid this taking off the hatch liner in order to get to the back of the badge?

Yes, you need to remove the license plate garnish, No. 13, in order to remove the push pins.

I think it's too troublesome and having the risk of breaking the mounting points on the garnish, so I just removed my H emblem directly. The broken pins did cause rattling noise whenever I open the trunk before it's gone after couple months.

Would anyone be able to show or describe how to install these H emblems? Does the front emblem come ready to go with 3m tape, or only the rear? Is it really OK to break the old emblems when removing them?
