I purchased JDM clear markers from iJDMtoy and managed to fit them but not satisfied with how much of a gap there is. Has anyone had this issue with their coupe and found clear side markers that didn’t leave this big gap.

I’m thinking about ordering the procivic ones listed for 2dr.

Maybe the one I tried is for a sedan? Or could the 19-20 facelift be an issue with the side markers?

Good to know. I have a 2020 sport sedan and was looking at their smoked set. Gonna keep an eye on this before buying...

The side markers are the same for all years, all trims and all platforms.

Jdmtoy sells depo sidemarkers. They're not real jdm. They dont fit well, and will turn yellow in a couple of months. OEM JDM clears fit very tight.

I ended up ordering JDM OEM 33800-TEM-M01 / 33850-TEM-M01

They don’t have the gap inside the wheel well like the JDMtoy ones. However, there’s a slight gap where water and dirt can come through. I wanted to see if it was just perhaps the side marker having issues with fitment so I reinstalled the OEM amber ones and same thing.

This is a pain as I purchased JDMTOY side marker and now an OEM Clear and still having issues. As well...the clipping on the side marker that hooks behind the fender clip seems to have some sharp plastic edges and takes the paint off the fender clip. So concerned now about potential rust.

There is a gap where the side marker reaches above the wheel. Any ideas on why this is happening? Only possibility I can thing of is when the dealer reinstalled the bumper they might not have done it right causing the gap or sidemarker from fitting tightly or it could be issues with the metal clip inside the fender needing to be adjusted.

The paint chip that you made is on bumper cover which is made of PP so rust is not an issue. Just be careful when you’re doing the install and get a touch up paint to fix that.

I dont have the gap issue, and I think your fender is sagging so just lift it back. The side markers is clipped into the fender extended bracket.

I pushed in on the fender and it seems to correct the gap and the side marker sits flush, but once I stop pushing I goes back to the gap. Why would it be sagging and how can I pull it back in place?

Just bought the car brand new couple months ago and the only thing don’t with the exterior was removal of the bumper to install aftermarket fogs. Note that I still in some angles see that it’s not clipped properly around the headlight

If the bumper isn't fully clipped in, those millimeter gaps will cause a wiggle. You'll have to remove and reinstall the bumper ensuring each clip goes in; a good idea to get new clips too from the dealer because these clips tend to break easily. I wouldn't blame the installer unless it's terribly off.

Bumper fitment is a common issue once removed, they're almost never the same as they were from factory. You can chase it, or choose to leave it.
