can JB4 read the oil pressure, temp, and water temp?
I think it can just read water temp of the two
I wonder if there is a way to add a oil temp gauge
especially if you track your CTR

I see oil temp and water temp but no oil pressure.
Opps I meant to say oil pressure, and that's very important to have if you are going to track the car. My air cooled Porsche has three, one for pressure, oil level and oil temp. Of course knowing what's going on with your oil in an oil cooled car is very important!

To add a oil pressure gauge you will need to add a sandwich plate that fits between the oil filter and the engine block. Then you screw in the oil pressure sender into the sandwich plate and then wire that up to your gauge. Just not sure where you would mount the gauge

About to order this.. to run ethanol, do we not need a flex fuel kit like you do with hondata and ktuner ? If not, that’s a huge selling point.

I believe you can run 1-2 gallons and have no issues. However..... I would NOT go above that mix on a JB4

The nice thing about the JB4 is the support. They recommend starting with map1, sending them a log, then getting the okay to move to map2 and so on. There is an e30 map as well that i will be trying out once I get my unit on Monday.

Just got my jb4 hoping to rekindle this thread.. I hope we can push them to continue its development...one thing missing after reading the whole thread is dyno numbers. I'll be dynoing my car this February and post my results.

Now, question the is the IAT from the MAF? Or from the MAP?

Let me know how you do! I went from JB4 to Ktuner to Hondata. Super happy now.
