Well here's my theory. Honda is discontinuing the coupe. I think just having one Si model would be a mistake. So I think we'll see an Si sedan and an Si hatch.

Then, I'm pretty sure Honda knows they need to up the Si's power compared to the 10th gen and something like 220-230 hp sounds about right.
Si: 220hp
SiR: 270 hp (hatch?)
Type R: 370 hp (AWD)

These will pretty much cover all bases to compete against the upcoming Corolla Sport GRMN and Veloster N.

I'll take an SiR hatch in Polished Metal Metallic. You taking pre-orders?

Make mine Blue or Red!

I’ll be looking for a new car by then. Hopefully KTUNER support!

I mean if the CTR goes to 400hp then the Si will be closer to 300 or high 200's to balance out the levels. We can only hope the Sport and Sport Touring get boosted to above 200 with good mpg still and better rods like the Si motor has.

Mannnn fingers crossed for a Si hatch with 220+ HP
What would have to be done to the 1.5T to bump it up 40 hp? Because that is the only engine being used in hatches other than the 2.0 Turbo charged FK8. So do they drop that engine in and use fewer performance mods?

They'd just give the Sport the Si motor and give the Si the R or a detuned version of the current R motor which would save money since they all can be swapped to any current gen chassis. That's just my opinion though if they want to push up the hp without a big issue.

They could drop the K20C5 from the Accord/RDX into the Si, but they're also dropping it in the new TLX as standard already. Would be an easy 250-270 HP, but would Honda make that engine so widespread if they are making it a standard in the Acura lineup?
