issues with gear 1-3

ohh but is it meant to only happen in 1st cuz for me i get locked out 1,3 and 4 but its random

it can happen in any gear, but it's more likely in the lower gears

I used to get locked out from time to time when my car was brand new... now almost 6K miles later I can't remember the last time I was locked out. I don't know if these transmissions need a break in period or what but my trans shifts like butter now on the original fluid

I’ve seen how the kids treat their Type R, and 99% of these issues are inexperienced drivers. Driving a manual transmission car isn’t only about knowing to press the clutch and shift, or knowing how to get the car rolling from first. It’s about timing, and about feeling the transmission, engine, road conditions (shifting on a bump has its own nuances), the rest of the car and the outdoors temperature.

It’s not a one trick pony like a Tesla.
